2006: Philiy won a bursary to make a 3 minute film with funding from PVA Media Lab, The Lottery and South West Screen.

2005: November: Won the public vote for the best photograph in the 'Blue Lias Gallery' , Tide Turns competition. UK

2004-2005: Awarded 'Metro Imagery' Bursary, London.

2004 May: 'Eight' photojournalism magazine published 4 page spread of “Till The Cows Come Home’.

2004 Jan 22-Feb 19: Exhibited at HYPE gallery Brick Lane, London.

2003 Sept: Solo exhibition of ‘White Skin, Black Soul’ at Unified Design Lab San Francisco USA. 

2003 August: Exhibited in the Ian Parry Award at the Tom Blau Gallery, London.

2003 August: Highly commended in the Vision2020 Right to Sight Award. Work exhibited in New York, Sydney, Zurich and London.

2003 September: Feature called ‘Coming Up Fast’ written about Philiy in the Royal photographic Society magazine.
 
2003 October: Photographs published in a book celebrating the British countryside. Published by Trueman Publishing.

1998: Solo exhibition of ‘Fallen Creatures’ at ‘Pi Gallery’ Cavendish Street, Manchester. UK.

1998: Awarded Cavendish travel grant to complete a project in Nevada and San Francisco. Work based around the theme of absence of home.
